Joey and I started dating on June 12, 2010
Before we fell into the official "we are dating" status we were roommates, friends, and each others secret crush. The first time I met Joey was through my cousin Steve. I thought he looked too old for dating and didn't really care to hang out with him. When I got to know him, I always wanted to be around him. Joey has a personality that stands out from the average guy. I moved into the Liverpool house after 5 months of knowing him and I fell in love with him. His laugh, his smile, his charm, and even his party side had me hooked. Joey could make me laugh any time of the day and I knew I had to have him!
During this day of fishing I remember I couldn't take my eyes off of him. I wanted his help baiting my line even though I knew how to do it on my own. It may be a little obvious that I had the biggest crush on him.
We have shared so many memories, parties, and good times with all the homes!

On September 14, 2010, Joey and I had life changing news, I was pregnant, and we were about to start a new life together with our little gift from God... Forever.
At 12:11am on May 1, 2011, I rolled out of bed and was thinking my water had broke. Not realizing I was in labor, Joey told me to call my mom and make sure my water had seriously broke because he had a tee time at 10am that morning to go golfing with the boys, and he did not want to miss it. Needless to say he did not go golfing, and we were in the hospital within the hour. At 11:47am, Corbin Anthony Ellis was brought into this world with the biggest greeting from all 25 members of our family.
Such a life changing day.
I never imagined being a mother of such a beautiful little boy, the wife of my best friend, and that I could have so much love for my new family.
It seems like 6 months have just flown by. Corbin has grown so fast and healthy and melts my heart everyday. He is now crawling, teething, showing this unique personality and teaching Joey and I so much.
This is the start of Team Ellis.
A loving, laughing, faithful family that is going to face many challenges in life.
