First off, I'd like to wish every one a happy and prosperous new year!
Joey, Corbin and I have had an amazing holiday season together and we are looking forward to the new year.
I want to take this blog back to Halloween, because Corbin's costume was just so damn cute! We took a trip to the pumpkin patch and numerous people asked to take a picture of him, and he got a toy for having the cutest costume.

We went trick-or-treating in Garden Grove at my parents house this year. His costume was perfect for the area because there are so many skunks. Joey would walk with Corbin up to the houses as I waited in the street and all I could hear was shouts of laughter at his costume. Little kids would stop running from house to house and compliment Corbin's costume then yell back at their parents, "Look at the baby skunk mom!"
Halloween was a blast and his skunk costume has been put to good use scaring the neighbors and keeping him warm at Dallas' football games.
He rocked that costume and crawled for the first time that night!
Thanksgiving day we spent in Corona with the whole Steinbeck family and ate till we felt like passing out.
Corbin had sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, green beans and cranberry sauce for dinner. It was safe to say that he had a fantastic Thanksgiving and was one happy and full baby.

The day after Thanksgiving is not only black Friday, but it is football day in the Steinbeck house and family and friends came to cheer on the Hogs!

Arkansas VS Louisiana, a game I may never forget. The hogs had a great first quarter and were making some outstanding plays. One particular play is what made this game so memorable.
LSU had possession and Corbin was hanging out at Papa's feet. All of a sudden LSU fumbles, Arkansas recovers and the living room goes wild! Papa was jumping up and down screaming in excitement while Corbin was screaming in fear on the ground. It may have been scary for Corbin but it was a good laugh for the rest of us.

From Thanksgiving to Christmas Corbin was the best behaved little man.
Joey and I were excited for Christmas as if we were little kids again. The days leading up to Christmas gave us butterflies and Christmas Eve we could hardly sleep from excitement.
Christmas Eve was spent with the whole Ellis family.

Our Christmas Eve was full games, laughter and lots of yummy Mexican food, compliments of Grandpa Tom, Diana and Aunt Jackie.
Every Christmas morning growing up my sisters and I would race into the living room to see what Santa brought us... Corbin was crawling as fast as he could into the living room to see what Santa brought for him. Crazy how time changes.

He cried for 2 seconds then popped up and wanted to play again, he is such a tough cookie.
Our holidays spent together were so memorable, full of so much love from friends and family. Joey Corbin and I are so blessed and thankful for the reason of the holiday season and look forward to this wonderful new year!
